Food supplements must not be used as a substitute for a varied diet and healthy lifestyle. Take 1 capsule a day, after a meal. N-Acetyl Cysteine can irritate the stomach lining if you take it on an empty stomach. You can open the capsules and stir the contents into a full glass of water or juice. 

Cautions: Do not take activated charcoal along with NAC, as the charcoal will stop the NAC from being absorbed. NAC reduces the risk of blood clots by thinning the blood. If you are already being treated for this, talk to your healthcare professional to check if NAC is safe for you.
