    Great product!

I've been taking these probiotics since Sept last year. I started on one tablet for a couple of months and then moved onto two each day. I have to say, it takes some time but I really do feel like these work. I feel and look to myself, much less bloated, esp at specific times of the month during my cycle. Its not a drastic difference but I feel and notice it all the same. The biggest difference for me is my skin. I've always suffered with spots (even in my 40s) but my skin has noticeable cleared and is looking brighter.

Only on my second week of taking these, not felt the benefits as yet, but i know it can take 4-12 weeks to start seeing them.

Easy to take and thankfully no side effects.

Looking forward to enjoying the positive benefits from these probiotics.

Does this have 50mg zinc bisglycinate or 50mg elemental zinc as the image suggests bisglycinate but the NRV label suggests elemental zinc? Thank you
    VitaBright

We apologise for the confusion. Each two-tablet serving provides 50mg of elemental zinc. 25mg elemental per tablet.

  • Joy H.
Hello, Thank you for your reply. My issue is - will I have done myself any harm taking such a large dose? Look forward to hearing from you. Thank you.
    VitaBright

It is unlikely to have caused any harm, but if you have not been diagnosed deficient, we recommend reducing your intake.

  • Joy H.
Hello, You state that the NHS recommends taking 25mg daily. Why do you recommend taking two tablets giving 50mg daily? I’ve been taking these for a couple of months now. Most advice is 25mg only and that it can be harmful if 50mg is taken, as you recommend. Please reply . Thank you.
    VitaBright

The option is given to take up to two tablets for those treating a zinc deficiency. If you have not been diagnosed deficient, one tablet will suffice.

If it's recommended that D3 is taken with K2, why does this product not have K2 in it, like many other Vitamin D supplements? Considering growing research shows that taking D3 without K2 to direct that calcium, it can build up in soft tissues like arteries, potentially causing calcification and increasing cardiovascular risk. I'm not sure how you can promote 'stronger bones and teeth' when without K2, it could go to the wrong places (like arteries) instead of your bones and teeth. If it's crucial to have both for best absorption, why would you sell D3 without K2? I feel you should clearly state on the label 'to be taken alongside K2' to cover this for people who don't know, as I've been taking your product for nearly a year and have only just found this out! I feel I've been mis-sold this product for my bone health, and have been potentially damaging my body unknowingly. The mention of taking K2 isn't anywhere on the D3 page, not until you come to the 'questions' section.
    VitaBright

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your concerns. We're glad you reached out so we can clarify how our product is formulated and how it fits within current guidance.
Vitamin D3 and Vitamin K2 can be taken together, but they are not universally required to be combined. While some brands choose to include both in a single capsule, it isn’t a regulatory or clinical requirement. Current UK and EU guidance does not state that D3 must be taken with K2, and Vitamin D supplements without K2 are widely used and considered safe.
Our D3 is formulated as a standalone supplement because many people already obtain Vitamin K through their diet or prefer to manage their intake separately. Combining nutrients in one capsule can be helpful for some, but it can also limit flexibility for those who need different strengths, are already taking K2 from another source, or have been advised to tailor their intake differently.
Regarding the concern about calcium “going to the wrong places,” it’s important to note that this is an area of ongoing scientific interest, and current regulatory bodies, including the European Food Safety Authority and the UK Department of Health, have not issued guidance stating that D3 should only be taken alongside K2. If such a requirement existed, we would of course follow it.
That said, we absolutely understand that some customers prefer to take D3 and K2 together, and we’re always reviewing emerging research and customer feedback when considering future formulations.
Your point about clearer labelling is genuinely appreciated. We never want anyone to feel unsure about how to use our products, and your feedback will be passed to our product and compliance teams so we can look at how to make this even clearer for customers.
If you’d like to take D3 and K2 together going forward, you’re very welcome to pair our D3 with a separate K2 supplement. Many customers prefer this approach because it allows them to choose the exact strength and form that suits them best.

I have got a nail problem. If I take rhis supplement, will it helps?

    VitaBright

As stated on the bottle, this supplement one capsule a day. You should not be taking more than the stated dose.

  • AnnieT
Hi, are these ok to take whilst on Mounjaro?
    VitaBright

While there should be no issue taking probiotics with Mounjaro, we do strongly recommend you check with your GP prior to starting any new supplement, when you are already taking medication.

  • Jenny
This supplement has 2000% daily requirements. Is this safe? Why is it so high?
    VitaBright

Our Vitamin D3 is formulated to treat low levels of vitamin D, not to maintain the minimum amount required by the 'average healthy adult' (otherwise known as RDA/NRV). In the UK it’s been found that 60% of us have less than the ideal amount of vitamin D and 20% have an actual deficiency.

In the UK we all suffer from a lack of sunlight in winter, which is why the government recommends that everyone should take a vitamin D supplement. If you work indoors all day, this may also apply to you during the summer. The more tanned or naturally dark your skin, the less vitamin D you will make in sunlight and the higher your risk of a deficiency. Using sunscreen creams will also stop you from making vitamin D when out of doors.

4000iu is the lowest upper level the average adult can safely take on a daily basis. We also recommend it be taken alongside vitamin K2, to ensure the calcium it creates is directed to your bones and teeth.

Do these have a coating or something in them so they survive the gut alive? I also see many others on the market that co tain more CFUs what research has been carried out as these amounts seem low in comparison.
    VitaBright

Our 45 billion CFU count is similar to the majority of probiotics supplements offered online, although a few products contain more and many contain less CFU than our product. We chose our selection of probiotics to provide a broad range of well-researched strains because the choice of strains tends to have more effect than simply the absolute amount in total. We have also selected the most robust culture strains that are proven able to survive stomach acid and reach the gut alive.
So far, no clinical research has been able to establish an ideal dose - or a minimum effective dose - of probiotics. This is partly because any individual probiotic can be taken for a wide variety of benefits, and the ideal dose may be different for each set of outcomes. Each individual has a different microbiome in their gut already, so the impact of adding probiotics will vary from one person to another. The dosage of probiotics is just one of many variables, which also include what you eat or drink with your supplement, the temperature of your food, your genetic make-up, any medical conditions you may have, medications you take and many more variables.
Ultimately, whether this dosage is satisfactory for you personally will depend on the health benefits you are hoping to achieve. It will also depend on many other factors relating to your lifestyle and current state of health.

Is your vitamin D3 come from lanolin from sheepd wool or vegan products?
    VitaBright

The D3 is sourced from lanolin, and the capsule shell is gelatine. As stated under the Safety section of the product page, this product is not suitable for vegans or vegetarians.

  • Judy
My 13 year old daughter has been advised to take a vitamin D supplement. Is this product suitable for a 13 year old?
    VitaBright

Hello, Yes, this is suitable to be taken by those 12 and over, however we recommend also taking Vitamin K2 with any high-strength D3, to ensure correct absorption. Regards, VitaBright.

  • Alexa N.
Do your Bio Cultures contain Yeast?
    VitaBright

We cannot guarantee that our Bio Cultures are yeast free.

  • Angel D.
Is your Bio Cultures stomach acid resistant?
    VitaBright

We don't use acid-resistant capsules for our Bio Cultures. However, this product has been specifically formulated with acid resistance in mind with the vast majority of strains and species used being considered intrinsically resistant to stomach acid to ensure they reach the intestine.

  • Anna L.
I would like to know why you have chosen the specific strains for this product?
    VitaBright

The specific strains of probiotic bacteria in our Bio Cultures were chosen for their power to build and maintain flora diversity within the gut. They are robust strains that can survive at room temperature to give you a high-strength capsule filled with viable colony forming units (live bacteria) that are not at risk of dying if they get exposed to temperature changes. They are a broad-spectrum of strains for general health, all known to help restore healthy gut flora which can be harmed by antibiotics, infection, stress, travel or poor nutrition. The majority of your immune system is in your gut and digestive system, so boosting this is vital to prevent bloating, constipation, reduce parasites and provide immune support. If you are looking for probiotics that will target a more specific purpose, we do have alternative probiotic supplements. For example our cranberry probiotic contains strains known to restore a healthy balance of vaginal bacteria for women. Our Apple Cider Vinegar capsules contain a choice of probiotics selected for their powers to improve digestion and settle tummy upsets.

  • Asher W.
Why should your probiotics be taken with food, when most are to be taken on an empty stomach?
    VitaBright

There have been various studies carried out which have found different results when it comes to taking probiotics and whether it's best to take them on an empty stomach, or with food, and with which types of food. Therefore the jury is still out on what is best. Whilst we recommend taking our Bio Cultures with food, and in particular with prebiotic foods, you can really choose what works best for you.

  • Isla P.
    Is your Zinc chelated?
    VitaBright

Yes, it is chelated with gluconic acid to form zinc gluconate, one of the best absorbed forms of zinc.

  • Jayden N.
What is the source of your vitamin D3?
    VitaBright

Our Vitamin D3 is sourced from lanolin from sheep wool.

  • Jeremiah Q.
Can I open these capsules and mix the contents with food or drinks?
    VitaBright

We recommend that you take these capsules whole to maximise the quantity of live bacteria which reach your intestine. We have put the probiotics into a smaller capsule than usualy, to help make this easier. If you have difficulty swallowing capsules, try chewing a piece of bread and using this to push the capsule down.

  • John S.
What are the bacteria extracted from?
    VitaBright

The probiotics are produced by the fermentation of yeast.

  • Jeremiah T.
How long does Vitamin D take to get into your blood?
    VitaBright

Vitamin D will get into your blood within hours but it can take 1-3 months for vitamin D levels in your blood to build up and remain steady depending on how deficient you are. This depends on a number of factors. Our Vitamin D is the best absorbed form of Vitamin D. We recommend taking Vitamin D with your main meal of the day for best absorption.

  • Jonathan A.
Are your Bio Cultures low histamine?
    VitaBright

Our Bio Cultures are not tested for histamine levels.

  • Jonathan D.
How many IU's are in your Vitamin D3 per microgramme?
    VitaBright

One softgel contains 100 mcg (microgrammes) of Vitamin D3, which equals 4000 IU (international units).

  • Jose O.
    Are your bio cultures organic?
    VitaBright

The term organic applies to a plant crop that is grown in the ground. Bio cultures are live bacteria and, as such, they cannot be organic.

  • Joseph F.
Where is the Vitamin D3 from in your supplement?
    VitaBright

We source our Vitamin D3 oil from Germany, as it's the best quality we could find. Like all our products, the softgels are then manufactured and prepared in the UK.

  • Josiah Y.
Can the strains in this probiotic help with vaginal flora?
    VitaBright

Yes, it can. Although more research is required, Lactobacillus acidophilus is the most researched strain of probiotic when it comes to establishing and maintaining a healthy vaginal balance. Two other important strains include lactobacillus rhamnosus and lactobacillus reuteri. Our Probiotic Bio Cultures includes all three of these strains. We also offer a Cranberry Probiotic Complex specifically designed to support women's vaginal health, and both products can be taken together.
