    Easy on stomach , excellent product

    The average weight of each capsule is approximately 600mg, including the capsule shell. The organic brown rice flour is used as a natural bulking agent.

    I live in Scotland and the Vitamin D amount is too low compared to NHS recommendations. I bought this product as an all round year round multivitamin which I don’t think it can be since I now need an additional 5ug of vitamin D - what do you recommend, I don’t want to go above 10ug which is the guideline dose.

    Hello. Contrary to popular belief, NRV/RDA is actually the minimum amount of a nutrient required by an 'average, healthy' person in order to avoid a deficiency. It is not a maximum. If you are deficient, you need an abundance of the vitamin/mineral in order to correct it, which is why you find products of up to 100ug/4000IU available on the market.

    Our Multivitamin provides 5ug of D3, which is the minimum amount for an average, healthy person, as described above. Different countries have different recommendations on D3 amounts, based on the amount of sunshine the country receives per season. Unfortunately, it is not possible to create a single product that covers these varying recommendations.

    We do not sell a stand-alone 5ug D3 product, I'm afraid. You will ned to look to other suppliers for this.

    Hi I just started taking this a week ago but have noticed I’m getting bad indigestion afterwards which isn’t great. I am taking 2 tablets, with food - would 1 tablet be more palatable or am I not suited to the high strength dose in your product?

    Hi Shane, We and all other food supplement brands have to quote the EU NRV on labels in order to comply with regulations. Also, 10ug is only recommended for the winter months, as for the rest of the year the sun is stronger and more abundant.     A single dose of vitamin B12 is physically tiny, and can't be formed into a tablet without adding some substance. We use microcrystalline cellulose from plants, and dicalcium phosphate which is a compound of calcium and phosphorus, two minerals for healthy bones.

    Why is your Maca root now two capsules a day instead of one?

    We have recently changed our Maca Root formula. Taking on board customer feedback, we have increased the serving size from 1 to 2 capsules. We have also removed the bulking agent and are now using Organic Maca Root to provide a cleaner supplement, which enabled us to increase the amount of Maca per capsule up to 5500mg (comppared to the previous 4000mg). If you find that one capsule a day works for you, there is no need to increase to two.

    Our Maca Root is made from a very high strength extract which contains around a tenth of the calories you would get form eating raw maca root. In such comparatively low doses it's unlikely to contribute to weight gain.
