            The omega 3 arrived in 3 days after purchase and was packaged nicely. After a few weeks of taking omega 3 I have noticed my mind feels clear in the morning.

            It has a bit of a fishy after taste but it's only brief and goes away.

            I've been taking 3 capsules, once a day in the morning since November 2023. I definitely feel an improvement regarding pain in joints. However, I'm experiencing diarrhoea and tummy gripes and wonder if this is due to the curcuma. For information I don't eat breakfast. Could this be the problem. Should I reduce the dose and only take the capsules with food? Thank you for your advice.

            Hi Jacquie, As per the directions on the bottle, we do recommend you take these with food. This not only maximises absorption but also helps reduce the risk of stomach upset.             Yes, this supplement will be just as effective if you open the capsules. You can open the capsule and mix the contents with food or milk. Remember that Turmeric is a spice, so it will affect the flavour of your food. With milk, it tastes nice if you add maple syrup, honey or brown sugar.

            Our Omega 3 fish oil is not tested for its natural vitamin A content, however the amount of naturally occuring vitamin A in the type of fish that we use (anchovies and sardines) is negligible.

            We only use 100% natural and organic turmeric powder, not turmeric extract. We believe that curcumin works best in synergy with the other health-giving substances in turmeric. Turmeric powder naturally contains 4% curcumin. Each 3-capsule serving of our turmeric contains 2010mg of Turmeric powder which equates to 81mg of Curcumin.

            The overall TOTOX value never exceeds 23. We cannot give exact TOTOX values as it is too risky to perform anisidine testing in the manufacturing site, however we minimise oxidation at all stages in the manufacturing process.

            ​Oxalates are found naturally in many plants and can be found naturally in all turmeric in very small amounts. We don't test for oxalates in our organic turmeric, I'm afraid, so I can't tell you the amount if any, it contains.

            All turmeric can contain a significant amount of oxalate, so for this reason I wouldn't recommend you take any turmeric without first speaking to your doctor to find out if it's safe for you.

            The difference between them is the dosage. One is a lower dosage ( 2 capsules providing 1440mg) and this bottle contains 120 capsules, while the other is a higher dosage (3 capsules providing 2160mg) and this bottle contains 365 capsules. Both of our organic Turmeric products are created from the same raw ingredients, both are suitable for vegans/vegetarians and they're tested and manufactured in the UK.

            The taste is very mild. A fresh fishy taste is a natural characteristic of the active ingredient in Omega 3 supplements. Remember to store any brand of Omega 3 softgels in the fridge to keep them fresh and minimise the smell.
